I just suddenly realised.
Aren't all friendships or any link between other people created on the basis of a need or a use for that person?
Think about it.
All our relationships are governed by how much we can use a person.
Lets state an example.
You got to know a weak, helpless person, that needs your care and concern, and your help.
You decide to help him/her. Both of you become friends. But was helping him/her really an act of selflessness, or was it that you were helping him/her to satisfy your own need to help a person, or a need to feel important to someone?
When thought of that way, aren't we all just using each other?
When we go out with friends, are we just using them to cure our boredom, or generate fun to excite our lives?
When you chat up a person is it because you're lonely and just want someone to talk to?
Or was it really because you wanted to talk to that person? Why would you want to talk to that person? Was it curiosity? If so, aren't you just satiating your curiosity by talking to that person?
Are all relationships like that? Is there a true relationship that does not involve using anyone?
Can anyone tell me?
